About Us
WFI Inc. Logo

Value Wood Flooring was created in 2002 as a marketing channel of WFI Inc. to assist our flooring suppliers in marketing discontinued first-quality wood flooring as well as lower-grade specials. Back

Our ongoing wood flooring lines are marketed under our Wood Flooring International brand and sold exclusively through wood flooring installers and retailers. Products offered by Value Wood Flooring include:

First-Quality Wood Flooring

  • Discontinued Items:  Species, formats, grades and/or colors of our ongoing wood flooring lines that have been discontinued for various reasons.
  • Non-Standard Length Accumulations: Since our first-quality product lines have long average length specifications, our mills accumulate an excess of shorter pieces. These shorter pieces bring down the average length of the lots offered on this site, however the average length of our offerings will most likely be longer than those of most mass-market wood flooring suppliers. The length range and average length is specified on every one of our lot pages, so you'll know exactly what to expect.
  • Non-Standard Width Accumulations: To minimize waste our manufacturers will periodically produce lots with the maximum width a given board will yield. Many times this results in widths different than those in our standard product lines.
  • Non-Standard Grade Accumulations: Mills accumulate common and character grades that include the full color, character and grain of pieces pulled from higher-grade selections.

Second-Quality Wood Flooring

  • Cabin Grade:  Flooring with defects either in finish, milling or in wood quality. Cabin Grade flooring can be used as-is or after additional work to remove the defects, such as re-finishing and/or recoating. Each lot has details regarding any specific defects the flooring may have as well as recommendations on how to remedy said defects.
  • Shop Grade: Flooring with defects either in finish, milling, or wood quality that will require crosscutting before installation; this will result in a loss in yield. Shop grade flooring will require additional time to install and will require either some defecting out or recoating to bring up to useability. Each lot has details regarding any specific defects the flooring may have as well as recommendations on how to remedy said defects.

All flooring offered here has been inspected by our own quality control staff prior to being offered on this web site. Unlike most other liquidators/brokers/dealers, from Value Wood Flooring you can buy with confidence! See our warranty section for details.
